Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 250 g margarine
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 200 g poppy seeds, grated
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 2 cups of yogurt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Rum, for the glaze
  • 250 g icing sugar, for the glaze
  • 4 eggs

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Mix the whole eggs, icing sugar, flour, yogurt, poppy seeds, cinnamon, baking powder, and vanilla sugar together until a fluffy batter forms. Spread it onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for about 30 minutes. Mix the icing sugar with the rum to form a creamy glaze and pour it over the finished cake. Once the glaze has cooled, cut the cake into small squares or rectangles.
