Cream puffs

Spread the love

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 250 ml water
  • 65 g butter
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 125 g flour
  • 4 eggs

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Place water, butter, salt, and sugar in a microwave bowl and bring to the boil for 4-5 minutes at 600 watts. Add the flour and whisk to form a ball. Return to the microwave and heat for 1 minute at 600 watts. Using a whisk, beat the eggs one at a time into the ball of dough until smooth and glossy. Use a piping bag or simply spoon out dough into rings/mounds about 5 cm apart on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. (I prefer smaller ones – please test). Bake in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius until golden brown. About 20 minutes – please keep an eye on the temperature!!! Once cooled, fill with either sweet cream and mandarin oranges or savory cream cheese. Good luck.
