Pork loin in cheese sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g pork fillet(s)
  • 1 pack of cream cheese with herbs
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 3 tsp crème fraîche
  • 4 shallots
  • 2 tsp vegetable broth, instant
  • Mustard, hot
  • some flour
  • salt and pepper
  • some lemon juice
  • 250 g tagliatelle pasta

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

This recipe is quick and easy (about 20 minutes) and always a hit. Brush the pork loin with hot mustard on both sides, then coat in flour. Sear in a little oil for about 5 minutes on each side (depending on the thickness of the slices). Remove from the pan and season with salt and pepper. Place in the oven at about 80 degrees Celsius (175 degrees Fahrenheit) (at least 10 minutes to ensure they are nice and juicy). Lightly sauté the diced shallots, pour in about 125 ml of vegetable stock, bring to a simmer briefly, then add the cream cheese, stir, add the crème fraîche, season with salt and pepper, and add a little hot mustard and/or lemon juice, if desired. Simmer for a few minutes until the sauce is nice and thick. Place the pork medallions on the plate, add the pasta, and pour the sauce over it.
