Pork Strips with Mushrooms
The perfect pork strips with mushrooms recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Meat + marinade:
- 5 Pc. Minute schnitzel from pork – approx. 350g
- Pepper
- 1 tbsp Worcester sauce
- 1 tbsp Teriyaki sauce
- 1 tsp Honey
Further ingredients:
- 2 tbsp Rapeseed oil
- 400 gr Fresh mushrooms
- 1 bunch Spring onion
- 40 g Tomatoes pickled in oil
- 1 tsp Italian herbs
- 150 ml Cream, sweet
- Pepper
- Salt
Meat preparation:
- Rinse the minute steaks with cold water, pat dry, remove the edge of fat if necessary, then cut into strips and place in a bowl. Season with pepper, add Worcestershire sauce, teriyaki sauce (or soy sauce) and honey, mix well and let steep for at least 1 hour.
Now comes the wok:
- Heat rapeseed oil in a wok. Add the shredded meat and sear it. Then take out the meat and add a little more oil if necessary. Then sauté the spring onions cut into rolls, the finely chopped pickled tomatoes, and a little later the cleaned and sliced mushrooms. Scatter in the Italian herbs, simmer while stirring the pan (approx. 10 minutes). Then pour in the cream and season with salt and pepper.
Garnish:
- It goes well with rice or Chinese noodles.
