Pork strips with spinach and cream sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 small pork schnitzels
  • 1 spring onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • pepper
  • Salt
  • Paprika powder
  • ½ pack of leaf spinach, frozen product
  • nutmeg
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 150 g cream cheese
  • some milk
  • oregano
  • 60 g cheese, grated or sliced

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Own creation

Thaw the spinach and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Slice the spring onions into small rings and cut the schnitzels into thin strips. Season the meat with salt, pepper, and paprika. Sauté the spring onions in 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a deep pan, add the meat and brown. Pour the milk into the pan. Add the cup of sour cream and stir in the cream cheese. Then add the thawed spinach and stir in. Bring everything back to a boil. Add oregano to taste and season the schnitzels as desired. Add the cheese just before serving to thicken the sauce a bit.
