Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 180 g oat flakes, fine
- 500 ml almond milk (almond drink) or milk or other plant milk
- 2 tbsp almond butter
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 piece(s) apple
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 2 tbsp almond butter
- e.g. walnuts

To make the porridge, first toast the oats briefly in a small saucepan over medium heat. Then add the almond milk, almond butter, and cinnamon and simmer for 8-10 minutes. Stir frequently to prevent sticking. Meanwhile, place the pan over medium heat and add the coconut oil. Wash and slice the apple. Once the pan is hot, add the apple slices and reduce the heat. When the apple slices begin to simmer, add the honey and let the apples slowly caramelize in the honey. Ladle the finished porridge into bowls and garnish with the caramelized apple slices, a tablespoon each of almond butter, walnuts, and cinnamon.
