Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 liter cherry juice (Amarena cherry juice)
- 1 jar morello cherries
- 750 ml port wine
- 900 g gelling sugar 1:2
- 1 vanilla pod(s)

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Breakfast jelly with morello cherries in jelly
Chill a small plate for the set test. Combine the port wine, morello cherries, and cherry juice in a large saucepan, add the preserving sugar, and bring to a boil. Meanwhile, split the vanilla pod, add the seeds and pod to the pan, and simmer for 5 minutes. Test the set and, if necessary, remove the vanilla pod and pour the jelly into clean jars.
