Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1,500 g potatoes
  • 2 large onions (vegetable onions)
  • 250 g cheese, grated
  • ½ liter cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel the potatoes and onions. Slice the potatoes and cut the onions into rings. Layer the potato slices and onion rings in a greased casserole dish. Sprinkle grated cheese, salt, and pepper between each layer. Pour the cream over the top, top the casserole with knobs of butter, and bake in the oven at 220 degrees Celsius for about 80 minutes.
