Instructions

Bake the thawed potato pancakes in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius until crispy. This step is unnecessary for fresh, homemade ones. Cut the meat into strips and fry in oil. Line a large baking dish with half of the pancakes, overlapping them as needed. Spread the meat on top. Top with half of the sliced potatoes. Place the remaining potato pancakes on top. Mix the cream, crème fraîche, and ketchup, season with salt and pepper, and pour over the pan. Cover with the remaining cheese. Bake at 200 degrees Celsius for 25 minutes, until the cheese is browned.
