Potatoes in their skins

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt
  • Caraway seeds
  • marjoram

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

French fries and robe de champs

Brush the potatoes thoroughly under running water, cut four large pieces of aluminum foil, and place the potatoes on them. Place a knob of butter, a little salt, caraway seeds, and marjoram on each piece, and seal the parcels tightly. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 50-60 minutes. Serve in the foil. The skins are edible. Delicious with any meat dish.
