Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 tuber/s beetroot, fresh
  • 2 m.-large carrot(s)
  • 1 large apple
  • n. B. Water, approx. 200 ml

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

for a good start to the day

Wash all ingredients. Core the apple, then place everything, including the peel, into a blender or smoothie maker. Add water. Blend everything until smooth, adding more water if needed. The smoothie is then ready to serve. If it’s not sweet enough for someone, you can add a ripe banana if you don’t want to use other sweeteners. Of course, you can vary this to your liking, for example, by adding carrot tops or kohlrabi leaves, spinach, or other fruit. By keeping the peel, all the vitamins are fully preserved, which is what makes this smoothie so valuable to me. Tastes particularly good chilled or with crushed ice.
