Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 6 sausages (Servela, Bockwurst, etc.)
  • 6 pretzels, frozen goods for baking
  • 12 slices of breakfast bacon

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Thaw the pretzels enough to shape them. Wrap two slices of bacon around the center of each sausage. Then separate the pretzels and wrap the dough strands around the sausage, over the bacon. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for approximately 15-20 minutes until golden brown (depending on your oven). Serve with barbecue sauce, ketchup, or any other sauce of your choice. Tip: The salt that comes with the frozen pretzels can be used for cooking pasta or similar dishes.
