Protein Hamburger – Low Carb

The perfect protein hamburger – low carb recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Ground beef
  • 100 g Flaxseed crushed
  • 2 Pc. Eggs
  • 40 g Liquid butter
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 0,5 Pc. Onion
  • 1 Pc. Fresh tomato
  • 2 tbsp Low carb ketchup
  1. Preheat the oven to 200ºC.
  2. Mix the flax seeds, eggs, butter and baking powder together.
  3. Place two dumplings (hamburger size) on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  4. Approx. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes until the burger bun is firm and lightly crispy.
  5. Bring the beef mince lightly with pepper and salt and 2 meatballs into shape.
  6. Fry as desired in the pan. If you have fresh beef, you can also eat the burger medium (approx. 5 minutes). If you are unsure, rather enjoy it well done (approx. 10 min.). TIP: Also great to prepare on the grill!
  7. Cut the burger buns open with a lettuce leaf, meat, tomato and onion slices.
  8. Finally, some low carb ketchup, done.
