Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 8 eggs
  • n. B. Sweetener, liquid, 1.25 tsp (or 80 g real sugar)
  • 2 bags of vanilla sugar
  • 1 sachet of vanilla pudding powder
  • 2 sachets of vanilla flavoring, e.g. Dr Oetker Finesse
  • 1 kg low-fat curd cheese
  • 140 g flour
  • 70 g butter
  • 200 ml milk
  • 100 g soft wheat semolina

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Separate the eggs. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Beat the egg yolks with the measured amount of liquid sweetener or regular sugar until light and fluffy, then add the quark and mix well. Add the flour, vanilla pudding powder, semolina, vanilla sugar, and vanilla flavoring. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks and fold into the quark mixture. Pour the milk into a baking dish, cut the butter into pieces, and spread it evenly in the dish, i.e., with the milk. Now pour the quark mixture into the baking dish and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven on the middle rack for about 45 to 60 minutes. Tastes best lukewarm, with some fruit of your choice or cream.
