Quark dessert with cherry compote

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g quark
  • 500 ml vanilla sauce
  • 1 cup of cream, approx. 200 g
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pack of cream stiffener
  • 500 g cherry compote
  • 100 g chocolate chips

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

for those with a sweet tooth

Mix the quark with the vanilla sauce. Whip the cream with the vanilla sugar and cream stiffener until stiff peaks form and fold into the quark mixture. Layer the cherry compote alternately with the quark mixture in a bowl. Sprinkle with the chocolate chips and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. This dessert can be prepared 1-2 days in advance. But we also love it freshly made.
