Quark Dumplings with Sweet Surprise

The perfect quark dumplings with sweet surprise recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

For the blueberry mirror:

  • 200 g Fresh blueberries or frozen goods
  • 100 g Sugar

For the surprise:

  • 40 g Milk chocolate
  • 10 g Butter
  • 3 tbsp Cream
  • 1 tbsp Cointreau

For the quark dumplings:

  • 250 g Lowfat quark
  • 3 Discs Toast
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Egg yolk
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 30 g Soft butter

Aside from that:

  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp Breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp Hazelnut brittle
  1. Bring the blueberries to the boil with sugar and water and simmer for 5 minutes, then puree and refrigerate
  2. Heat the cream and butter and melt the chocolate in them
  3. Chill the mixture for about 1 hour
  4. add the cointreau and beat the truffle mixture with the mixer
  5. Pour the mixture into a piping bag and spray small piles on aluminum foil
  6. Chill again … .. then roll into balls between the palms of the hands
  7. Chill until further use

  9. squeeze out the quark well …… debark and dice the toast slices
  10. Shred it finely with the food processor … or crumble it finely by hand

  15. Shape into dumplings with damp hands and add to boiling salted water and leave to stand for 15 minutes over low heat
  16. in the meantime, heat the butter in a pan
  17. Add breadcrumbs and brittle … roast until golden while stirring
  18. Place a spoonful of blueberries on each plate as a mirror … place the quark dumplings on top and spread the brown butter over them
