Sweet Quark Breads

The perfect sweet quark breads recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Egg
  • 4 tbsp Milk
  • 4 tbsp Sunflower oil
  • 2 tbsp Raw cane sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 300 g Flour
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • 1 Whisked egg yolks
  • 250 g Lowfat quark
  1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the egg with the milk, the oil, the quark, the pinch of salt and the sugar well. Mix the flour with the baking powder and knead in well, the dough is then a bit sticky and that’s how it should be. With floured hands, form 8 rolls out of it and then place them on the baking sheet.
  3. Now brush the rolls with the whisked egg yolk and bake on the middle rack for about 25 minutes.

tip

  1. You can also fold raisins or chocolate chips under the dough and then bake.
