Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour, possibly whole grain
  • 1 cup hazelnuts, ground
  • 1 cup sunflower oil
  • 2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 2 tsp cocoa powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 apples, peeled if desired
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • Fat for the mold
  • possibly powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 55 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

delicious, juicy and very easy

Dice the apples. Blend the remaining ingredients into a smooth batter, carefully folding the apple pieces into the batter. Pour into a greased springform pan and bake at 175°C for about 55 minutes. Let cool slightly and remove from the pan. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving, if desired. This cake is also delicious with whole-wheat flour. It tastes best on the second day.
