Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 4 tbsp water
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 100 g sugar
- 100 g flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 4 tbsp oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
In a mixing bowl (or other mixing container), vigorously shake the water, eggs, vanilla sugar, and sugar. Add the flour and baking powder and shake again. Add the oil and shake vigorously a third time. Pour the batter directly into a sponge or springform pan lined with baking paper and bake at 200 degrees Celsius for about 15 minutes. Only remove the baking paper when you’re ready to add toppings. This will keep the sponge cake moist until the cake is done.
