Quick cheese, herb, and garlic roll

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 stale roll
  • 1 ½ tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 ½ tbsp herbs, fresh or frozen
  • 50 g cheese
  • Salt and pepper or spices of your choice

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Great use for old rolls or bread, perfect with salad or for a snack or to spice up dinner

First, preheat the oven to 180°C and cut the roll or bread into small squares. Mix the olive oil with the crushed/chopped garlic, then add the herbs and water. Season with salt and pepper or spices of your choice. Using a brush or spoon, spread the mixture into the previously cut squares. Chop the cheese into small pieces and place it into the squares (or use grated cheese). Bake at 180°C for about 10-20 minutes, until the cheese is melted. Now it’s time to take it out and enjoy!
