If you need something quick, kids love this casserole!

Crush the spaetzle in the bag until they are short pieces. Cook in plenty of salted water until al dente. In the meantime, slice the sausages and heat them in a casserole dish in the microwave with the peas and carrots. Mix the sour cream with a little milk until smooth and season well with salt and pepper. Mix the drained spaetzle with the sausages, peas and carrots and spread the sour cream on top. Finally, place the cheese slices on top. If you’re in a hurry, heat in the microwave for about 10 minutes. If you have a bit more time, place in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about a quarter of an hour; the cheese will crisp up a bit.
