Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1,000 g raspberries
  • 500 g sugar
  • 500 g gelling sugar (2:1)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Bring the sorted and washed raspberries to a boil with all the sugar and simmer on medium or lower heat (or on the first heat for three heats) for about 30 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent foam from forming. After 30 minutes, pour the jam into jars that have either been rinsed with hot water or sterilized with hot steam and screw on the sterilized lids (sterilized jars are better in my experience; they last longer). Store in a cool place.
