- 360 g skimmed milk powder
- 120 g cocoa
- 120 g sugar
- 120 g chocolate (peppermint chocolate), finely chopped

You will need 6 wide-mouth screw-top jars, each with a capacity of 230 ml. Divide these ingredients among the 6 jars as follows: Per jar: 60 g milk powder, 20 g cocoa, 20 g sugar, 20 g chopped peppermint chocolate. Seal the jars. 1 jar contains 3 servings and lasts for about 4 months. I often give this mixture as a gift to loved ones. In this case, I write down the preparation instructions and attach a copy to each jar: “Mix the contents of the jar thoroughly. Pour 40 g of this mixture per serving into a cup or heatproof glass and fill with approximately 180 ml of hot water or a water-milk mixture. Stir well until dissolved or melted. Garnish with cream and cocoa or peppermint sugar, if desired.”
