Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 500 g pork belly, fresh
  • 4 large potatoes
  • 1 small white cabbage
  • 3 carrots, optional
  • some tomato paste
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • n. B. Salt
  • e.g. paprika powder
  • 1 bell pepper(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Slice the pork belly as needed. Peel and dice the potatoes. Trim the cabbage and cut into strips or dice. Peel or trim and dice the carrots, garlic, and bell pepper. Layer all ingredients in a pot in the exact order listed. Half fill the pot with water and simmer for 20 minutes. Add the diced bell peppers towards the end, if desired, so they still have a bite. Finally, remove the meat and chop it finely. Then add it back in and stir well.
