Red Wine and Chocolate Muffins

The perfect red wine and chocolate muffins recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 100 g Flour
  • 80 g Ground hazelnuts
  • 50 g Dark chocolate shavings
  • 3 tsp Baking powder
  • 4 tsp Cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp Cinammon
  • 2 Pc. Eggs
  • 100 g Soft butter or margarine
  • 90 g Powdered sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 150 ml Red wine
  • 1 shot Rum
  1. Mix the flour, baking powder, hazelnuts, grated chocolate, cocoa powder and cinnamon. In another bowl, stir the eggs, butter, vanilla sugar and powdered sugar on the highest setting with the hand mixer until frothy. Briefly stir in the flour mixture. Add red wine and rum and stir in briefly.
  2. Line the hollows of a muffin tin with molds. Fill each mold about 2/3 with batter. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees (or convection oven 175 degrees) for about 25 minutes.
