Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter, soft
  • 200 g sugar
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 100 g chocolate sprinkles
  • 100 g ground almonds
  • ¼ liter red wine

For us the most delicious red wine cake according to a friend’s recipe

Preheat oven to 175°C fan/convection oven and grease a 26cm springform pan. Cream together the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, and eggs until fluffy. Combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, cocoa powder, chocolate sprinkles, and ground almonds and add to the pan. Gradually stir in the red wine. Pour the batter into the greased springform pan and bake for about 1 hour.
