Rice Dishes: Rice – Spinach – Balls
The perfect rice dishes: rice – spinach – balls recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Fresh spinach
- 300 g Cooked rice
- 2 piece Egg yolk
- 2 piece Salt pepper
- 2 piece Nutmeg
- 4 tbsp Grated Parmesan
- Parmesan in one piece

- Sort the spinach, wash, blanch and dry well. Then pour through the kitchen machine and mix. Put this mixture in a bowl, add the previously cooked rice and egg yolks, mix well with salt & pepper and a little nutmeg.
- Finally, the grated Parmesan – I grate in the Genius – and mix well with the rice and spinach mixture.
- Then shape balls with wet hands and place them next to each other in a baking dish. The mass yields about 2 x 6 balls (balls) then cover well with grated Parmesan.
- Baked everything in the oven for about 20 minutes and served hot … we had a cucumber salad with it.
- These rice and spinach balls also taste delicious when cold 😉
