Rice paper rolls with turkey breast

Spread the love

Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 1 pack of rice paper, 10 sheets
  • 150 g smoked turkey breast, thinly sliced
  • 100 g Chinese cabbage
  • ½ bunch coriander leaves
  • 1 bottle of chili sauce, sweet, or Asian gourmet sauce sweet and sour
  • e.g. sesame

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

low-fat finger food

Wrap the rice paper in a damp tea towel and let it soften for 5 minutes. Place the turkey breast slices in the center of the rice paper sheets. Wash the Chinese cabbage, spin dry, and cut into fine strips. Then spread it on the turkey breast. If desired, add coriander and/or sesame seeds (you can toast them a little first) to the Chinese cabbage. Drizzle one to two tablespoons of chili sauce or gourmet sauce over the Chinese cabbage. Fold in the right and left edges of each rice paper sheet and roll up from bottom to top, not too tightly. Now dip the finished rolls in the remaining sauce and enjoy. You can also fry the rolls briefly in a pan or in the oven, but be careful, as they tear easily. It also tastes good if you dip the rolls in the sauce and then dip them in toasted sesame seeds before enjoying them.
