Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 1 bag of rice
- 200 g ham (cooked ham), sliced
- 1 can pineapple, pieces
- 1 can of corn
- curry powder
- Mayonnaise or Miracle Whip
- Lemon pepper
- broth
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 15 minutes
with curry and pineapple
Cook the rice in vegetable broth according to the instructions. In the meantime, dice the ham and drain the pineapple and corn. If desired, halve the pineapple pieces. When the rice is ready, drain and let cool. Mix the mayonnaise with the curry, a little pineapple juice, and a little of the broth until smooth. Season with lemon pepper and other seasonings to taste. Mix the rice with the pineapple, corn, and ham. Then stir in the cream and let it marinate well. Since the rice absorbs a lot of moisture, you may need to stir in a little more cream later.
