Roasted Sunflower Seeds Refined with Soy Sauce
The perfect roasted sunflower seeds refined with soy sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 Cup Sunflower seeds
- 1 Cup Sal de Ibiza
- 1 Cup Soy sauce
- Roast the kernels over a fairly high heat. Add salt right away. Now comes the kicker. Add a good dash of soy sauce and turn the kernels. It is important that the kernels are dry. This is the only way to keep them in stock for a long time. Let the kernels cool in a container. Turn it every now and then. They dry better that way. I got the idea from Tim Mälzer’s “Bullerei” here in Hamburg. The taste goes well with all dishes, also in the evening just like that.
