Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter, soft
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 sprigs rosemary
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Pepper, ground
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 1 tsp basil, chopped, dried or fresh
  • 1 tsp sambal oelek

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

The butter should be at room temperature so that it can be easily worked with a fork. Peel the two garlic cloves and chop very finely. Wash the rosemary and also chop finely. Melt about 1 tablespoon of the butter in a small saucepan. Sauté the chopped garlic cloves with the chopped rosemary. Once slightly browned, remove from the heat and let cool. Now, mix the cooled garlic and rosemary mixture with the butter and the other ingredients in a large, deep plate and knead with a fork. Add salt and pepper to taste, or add more sambal oelek for more spice.
