Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 12 m.-sized potatoes
  • 80 ml olive oil
  • 0.1 g saffron threads
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • 1 organic lemon(s) (for zest)
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Oven-baked saffron potato wedges

Peel the potatoes and cut into wedges. Crush or crush the saffron with a mortar and pestle or a flat knife. Wash the lemons and zest them finely. Mix the spices with the oil and marinate the potato wedges. Bake on a baking sheet at 180°C (top/bottom heat) or 150°C (fan oven) for about 20 minutes, until crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. A perfect accompaniment to dishes like lamb.
