Salted peanut cookies

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 150 g brown sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 400 g flour
  • 1 tsp, heaped baking powder
  • 200 g chocolate to taste, chopped
  • 200 g peanuts, roasted and salted, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 13 minutes; Total time approx. 33 minutes

First, cream the softened butter with the sugar, then beat in the eggs one at a time. In a second bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder and quickly stir into the butter mixture. Chop the chocolate and peanuts if desired and stir in briefly. The dough will be quite firm, but that’s okay. With floured hands, form balls weighing about 30-35g, place 9 at a time on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and press them down slightly. Bake the cookies at 180°C (top and bottom heat) for about 13 minutes, depending on the oven. When the edges are golden brown and the center of the cookies looks as if they aren’t quite cooked through, they’re done! Tip: You can also use Santa Clauses and Easter bunnies!
