Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 4 onions
  • 3 bell peppers, red, yellow and green
  • 3 small zucchini
  • 250 g mushrooms, small
  • 500 g pasta (spirals)
  • Salt and pepper, black
  • 500 g minced beef
  • rapeseed oil
  • 1 can of tomatoes, peeled
  • Garlic, to taste, but more tastes better
  • 1 bottle of chili sauce, sweet and spicy
  • 100 g cheese (medium-aged Gouda or Appenzeller)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel the onions and cut into fairly small pieces. Wash, deseed, and eighth the bell peppers. Wash and slice the zucchini. Trim and slice the mushrooms. Cook the pasta in a large pot in plenty of salted water until al dente. Then transfer to a baking sheet or a large casserole dish. Fry the minced meat and onions in oil until browned and crumbly, then mix with the tomatoes and their juices and pour over the pasta. Sauté the bell peppers and zucchini with the garlic and then add them to the pasta. Lightly season the mushrooms with salt and pepper, mix them raw with a little oil, also fry and then add to the baking sheet. Pour the chili sauce over everything, sprinkle with the coarsely grated cheese, and bake for 30-40 minutes. Tip for vegetarians: omit the minced meat and use more mushrooms instead.
