Sausage Salad, Swiss Style
The perfect sausage salad, swiss style recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
For the marinade
- 200 g Emmental
- 4 Gherkins
- 3 Onions
- 3 tbsp Vinegar
- 5 tbsp Oil
- Salt and white pepper
- 1 pinch Sugar
- 2 Msp Mustard medium hot
- Chives
- Cut the meat sausage, the Emmental cheese and the onions into fine strips. Cut the pickles into fine cubes. Mix everything in a bowl.
The marinade
- Mix vinegar, oil, mustard, salt, pepper and sugar in a small bowl. Pour over the salad
- Mix the salad with the marinade well and let it steep for at least 30 minutes.
- Serve the salad in a bowl and serve with pretzels or hearty country bread.
