Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 savoy cabbage
  • 300 g carrot(s)
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 500 g minced beef
  • 400 ml hollandaise sauce *
  • 30 g margarine
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Finely dice the onions and carrots. Cut the savoy cabbage into wedges, leaving the stalks on. Simmer the carrots in 1/2 liter of water for 10 minutes. Then strain. Cook the cabbage wedges in boiling water for 15 minutes. Remove from the water with a slotted spoon, drain briefly, place in a casserole dish, trim off the stalks, and keep warm. Meanwhile, brown the onions and minced meat in a pan, add the carrots, and cook on low heat for a further 10 minutes. Add the hollandaise sauce to the minced meat and let it simmer for another 5 minutes. Spread the minced sauce over the cabbage wedges. You can serve it with boiled potatoes. Note: You can either make the hollandaise sauce yourself or use a ready-made product. Then use the drained water from the carrots to mix it.
