Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 bell pepper(s)
  • 250 g mushrooms
  • 1 tsp oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 125 g sour cream
  • ½ bunch parsley
  • 2 pork schnitzels
  • 2 tsp oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel the onion and slice into rings. Trim, wash, and slice the bell pepper. Trim the mushrooms and quarter any large ones. Heat the oil in a pan and gradually add the onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms. Cover and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes. The bell peppers should still have some bite. Season with salt and pepper, stir in the cream, and let the sauce reduce slightly, then cover and keep warm. Wash the parsley, shake dry, and chop finely. Pat the schnitzel dry and lightly pat or flatten evenly, then season with pepper. Heat the oil and fry the schnitzel on each side. Season with salt, arrange on a warmed platter, and top with the mushroom mixture. Serve with spaetzle and salad.
