Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g potatoes, young small
  • 200 g beans, thick
  • 250 g peas
  • 250 g carrot(s) (roots)
  • 250 g kohlrabi
  • 250 g beans (bush beans)
  • 1 liter of milk or cream
  • Parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Ham
  • Fish fillet(s) (matjes)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Old Flensburg recipe

Boil the potatoes in salted water, peel, and slice. Clean and finely chop the beans, peas, roots, kohlrabi, and green beans, and cook in a little salted water. Heat the milk or cream with the parsley and butter, then add the potatoes and vegetables and season to taste. Serve with smoked ham and herring on a second plate. Schnüsch also freezes very well.
