Shrimp and leek tart

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 3 thin leeks
  • ½ tsp dill, dried
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 250 g prawns or shrimps
  • 150 g crème fraîche
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 pack of puff pastry, 275 g
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Peel and finely chop the garlic, but do not press it. Trim, wash, and slice the leek. Add the butter to a pan and fry the leek and garlic for 2 minutes. Then add the dill, lemon juice, and shrimp. Mix the crème fraîche with the eggs, salt, and pepper, and fold in. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Roll out the puff pastry and line any dish you like, leaving a 3cm-high edge. Once the pastry is properly shaped, pour in the shrimp and leek mixture. Bake the tart in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for 35-40 minutes.
