Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 500 g flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 125 g sugar
- pt. vanilla sugar
- 125 g margarine
- 2 eggs
- 250 g quark
- some rum
- pinch(s) of salt
- 150 g sultanas
- 125 g almond(s), finely chopped
- 50 g candied lemon peel
- 100 g butter, melted
- 125 g powdered sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
Make a dough from flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla sugar, margarine, eggs, quark, rum, and salt. Knead with the sultanas, finely chopped almonds, and candied lemon peel. Roll out and shape into a stollen. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (top/bottom heat) for about 60 minutes. Brush with butter while still warm and sprinkle thickly with powdered sugar.
