Simple scrambled cucumbers

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 kg cucumber(s)
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 6 tbsp vinegar (10%)
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 6 grains of allspice
  • 10 peppercorns
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • lots of dill

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 20 minutes

Peel the cucumbers and scoop out the cores. Then chop them finely, place them in a bowl, and add the remaining ingredients. Let them sit for 24 hours. All ingredients can be adjusted slightly according to taste. Stir well and stir briefly every hour on the first day (best with a wooden spoon).
