Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 6 large tomatoes
- 2 m.-sized onion(s)
- 2 cups of cream
- oil
- salt and pepper
- Sugar
- possibly herbs
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Finely dice the onions and sauté in a little oil. Add the sliced tomatoes to the translucent onions and simmer for a few minutes. Once the sauce has thickened to a mushy consistency, deglaze with the cream and season with salt, pepper, and a pinch of sugar. Tip: You can also refine the sauce with herbs, and if you increase the amount, the whole thing also makes a delicious soup, pureed, and served with ciabatta.
