Sliced ​​meat a la Maja with Gorgonzola and red wine sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pork, shredded
  • 150g Gorgonzola
  • 100 ml milk
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp sweet paprika powder for the marinade
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 m.-large onion(s), red
  • 2 small garlic cloves
  • 2 tsp broth, granulated
  • 200 ml red wine, dry
  • 3 tbsp crème fraîche
  • 2 dashes of Tabasco
  • 1 ½ liters of water and red wine mix

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

First, sear the minced meat in the oil and seasoning, then add the finely chopped onions and garlic. Then, deglaze with the water and red wine mixture and the stock and simmer. When the meat is nice and tender, pour in the remaining 200 ml of red wine, add the Gorgonzola, cream, and crème fraîche, and let it melt slowly. When everything is reduced to a smooth consistency, serve with croquettes.
