Soljanka
The perfect soljanka recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 3 Pc. Kasseler
- 250 g Meat sausage
- 3 medium sized Onions
- 2 Glasses Letscho
- 1 cups Creme fraiche Cheese
- 8 Pc. Gherkins
- Pepper
- Salt
- Sweet paprika
- Oil
- 8 Pc. Cherry tomatoes red
- Tomato ketchup
- 2 Poles Baguette
- Remove the smoked pork from the bone and cut into cubes, also cut the meat sausage, pickles and cherry tomatoes into cubes, peel the 3 medium-sized onions and dice finely.
- Now heat 2-3 tablespoons of oil in a pan, fry the diced smoked pork and season with sweet pepper, salt and paprika. Add the diced sausage and the finely diced onions and fry for another 3 – 5 minutes. Then transfer the whole thing into a large saucepan and add the 2 glasses of Letscho and the diced pickled cucumbers and diced cherry tomatoes and stir well, depending on the consistency, dilute with a little water and simmer for about 30 – 45 minutes. I taste the whole thing again with 3 tablespoons of tomato ketchup and paprika to get a good spicy taste.
- Now I arrange it in the soup plate and add a nock of crème fraìche. I serve French baguette with it
