Sour cherry sparkling wine jelly

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 700 ml cherry juice (sour cherry juice), unsweetened, purchased or approx. 1.5 kg sour cherries juiced
  • 200 ml sparkling wine, dry
  • 1 pack of gelling sugar 2:1

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

In a saucepan, combine the cherry juice and sparkling wine with the gelling sugar. Bring to a boil over high heat while stirring continuously. Let it simmer for at least 3 minutes, stirring constantly! Immediately pour the hot jelly into jars, seal tightly, and let it sit with the lid on for about 5 minutes.
