Ingredients

  • 100 g Soy meat preparation dry product
  • 1 Paprika
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • 300 ml Vegetable broth
  • 500 ml Vegetable broth
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 2 Tl Smoked paprika powder
  • 1 tbsp Goulash seasoning
  • Oil

Instructions

  • First pour 300 ml of boiling broth over the soy cubes and add soy sauce.
  • While the cubes are soaking, cut the peppers into cubes. Finely chop the onion and garlic.
  • Drain the soy cubes and squeeze them out gently. Then fry in hot oil until golden brown. Then add onions, garlic and paprika and fry briefly. Add tomato paste and paprika powder and roast briefly. Deglaze with the broth and stir in the goulash seasoning.
  • Let simmer for at least 30 minutes. (As with "meat-based goulash": the longer it stews, the more aromatic it becomes.)
  • If necessary Season to taste with a little tomato paste, salt, pepper, paprika powder or chilli, if you want it to be spicy.
  • We had spaetzle and Romanesco steamed in salt water.
