Spaghetti with Prawns in Cream Sauce

The perfect spaghetti with prawns in cream sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Sauce:

  • 200 g Frozen prawns or king prawns
  • 1 tsp Thyme spice
  • 2 piece Cherrry tomatoes red, halved
  • 2 piece Yellow cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 piece Freshly cooked leek
  • 125 ml Sour cream
  • 1 tbsp Tomato puree
  • 3 tbsp Sherry medium
  • 12 g Butter
  • 1 tsp Shrimps, scampi, shrimp spices in m. KB.
  • 1 pinch Pepper from the grinder
  • Topping:
  • 1 top Basil leaves
  • 1 piece Onion

Spaghetti with shrimp:

  1. Let the spaghetti cook until aldente. Meanwhile, defrost the scampi and fry them in the pan with the butter.

Cream sauce:

  1. Put the scampi, the vegetables and the spices in the pan with the cream, the tomato puree and the spices and sweat with a little broth or cooking liquid and the sherry.

Use:

  1. Place the spaghetti with the shrimp sauce in serving plates and garnish with the basil. Grated cheese also goes well with it. It all adds up to a great Mediterranean-style summer dish.
