Spaghetti with tomato and onion sauce

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 400g spaghetti
  • 500 ml tomato(s), pureed
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 2 tbsp vinegar (wine vinegar)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 sweetener tablets (sugar also works, of course)
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the spaghetti as usual. In the meantime, dice the onions. How finely is up to you; I prefer the diced a bit larger. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onions until translucent. Add the passata and bring to a boil. Add the vinegar and sweetener tablets to the pan and simmer for about 5 minutes. Season with salt. Drain the spaghetti, transfer to a plate, and pour the sauce over it.
