Spicy Brie steaks on toast

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 40 g lamb’s lettuce
  • 8 pork steaks (minute steaks)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 200 g Camembert(s) (Brie)
  • 4 slices of toast
  • 2 tsp butter
  • salt and pepper
  • e.g. parsley
  • possibly mango chutney

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wash and trim the lamb’s lettuce. Wash the steaks and pat dry. Heat oil in a pan and fry the steaks for 2-3 minutes, turning occasionally. Season with salt and pepper. Cut the Brie into 8 slices and place one slice on each steak. Place the steaks on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 225°C (top/bottom heat: 220°C) for 3-4 minutes. Toast the slices of bread, spread with butter, and top with the lettuce and steaks. Wash and finely chop the parsley, and sprinkle it on top for decoration. If you like, add a dollop of mango chutney to each steak. Serve immediately.
