Strawberry – carrot – jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 750 g strawberries, finely chopped
  • 300 g carrot(s), cooked and pureed
  • 200 ml lemon juice
  • 1 tsp nutmeg, ground
  • 1.3 kg gelling sugar, 1:1
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Bring all ingredients to a boil in a large pot. Boil gently for about 4 minutes. Once set, immediately pour into twist-off jars. The butter prevents excessive foaming.
